Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Journal Projections (the "Service"), operated by LukesProjections L.L.C F-Z ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Journal Projections is a trading journal tool for logging and reviewing Forex, Futures and Options trades. You can try a free guest demo with no account required, or subscribe to a paid plan for cloud-synced storage across devices.
2. Not financial advice
Journal Projections is a record-keeping and analytics tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading or legal advice, and we don't recommend any security, instrument or strategy. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and isn't suitable for everyone. Any decisions you make based on data or statistics shown in the Service are your own responsibility.
3. Accounts
To use a paid plan you'll need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Free trial, billing and cancellation
Paid plans start with a 3-day free trial. A valid payment card is required upfront, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged anything.
After the trial, your plan renews automatically (monthly, quarterly or every six months, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the "Manage billing" link inside the app, which takes you to our payment provider's self-service billing portal. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — we don't provide partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Your data
In guest demo mode, your data stays entirely in your browser and is never sent to us. With a paid account, your trade data is stored in your own private, isolated account so it's available across your devices. You can export a full backup of your data at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we handle your data.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't use the Service to break the law, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the Service's operation, or resell/redistribute the Service without our permission.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Journal Projections available and reliable, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features from time to time, and we'll do our best to give you notice of any change that materially affects you.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date.
